A little jewel. Chic, charming and centrally located. A tranquil oasis close to the beachfront and Stonetown hustle and bustle. Stunning interiors. Rooms fit for a Persian princess. Courtyard with sparkling swimming pool. Rooftop Terrace for taking in the cityscape. Highly recommend the afternoon tea and traditional Swahili dinner served on the Rooftop Terrace. Friendly, helpful staff.

When we arrived at the hotel, they are still working to fix the air conditioning in the room where we were supposed to stay. It took time more than they expected; however, their explanation and hospitality were good.We enjoyed breakfast at the terrace and dinner at the rooftop. As I expected, this is an old hotel that gave us a lot of feeling of Zanzibar's history. We really enjoyed staying there for 2 nights.

Wonderful historic house directly in stone town. The employees have been kind and caring. The room (Suite) was spacious and is decorated with historical Charme. The food and drinks are good and at a decent price. We also did the city tour, the spice farm tour as well as some transfers from the hotel. Good service abs customer orientation.

The location was great to the ferry, sea front, night market and the stone town it self. Hotel and room are beautiful. The pool is lovely. Staff very nice. Family room is very big, beds are comfortable. The hotel's characters and the history of the house itself.
